Last night we had our first invited dress rehearsal. The female cast was on deck and it was a wonderful performance. Below is a review from one of our guests, Carol Taylor.

“I had the privilege to experience some of my favorite people on stage tonight in Nunsense and they were awesome. From the first dance line the Nuns of Hoboken had us laughing. Each of the wonderful actors has stand-out moments that highlight their talent and the uniqueness of their endearing characters. Amidst tap dancing, ballet, secret talents (I don’t want to give away), and an audience quiz, the talented actors create an engaging and outstanding show.

“The show consists of 5 amazing actors:
Lanette Gutman as Reverend Mother who humorously henpecks the other Nuns and has a classic comedic scene involving ‘something left behind by the students’, Susan Lopez as Sister Mary Hubert with a bit of attitude really gets to shine in ‘Holier Than Thou’, the finale where Sister Hubert steals the spot light. Rebecca Rubino is the adorable streetwise nun from Brooklyn with lots of heart, talent and charm that you root for as she attempts to get her time in the spotlight as Sister Robert Anne. Teri Griffin as novice Sister Mary Leo dances into your heart as wannabe ballerina with big dreams and lots of humor and Kerry Hedley is delightfully loveable and whacky as Sister Mary Amnesia, the nun who lost her memory and can sing a great country song that changes the future for the Sisters of Hoboken.

“Nunsense is an audience pleaser with many great moments, dance numbers, songs and laughs. Come be entertained by these great actors in this fabulous and fun musical.” – Carol Taylor
