Why did you want to be involved in SHAKESPEARE IN THE HILLS?
My brother was in the past two Shakespeare in the Hills productions and my mom was in the last one as well. Seeing them have such a good time in those productions really made me want to participate this year.
What’s going to surprise people about this show?
The show is going to be set in the 1920’s, which should be a fun twist!
What do you love about this character?
I love that I get to play a fairy and be part of the magical aspect of the show.
When did you first perform?
This is my first time acting in a play, which is super exciting! I used to be a ballet dancer however and performed many times doing that.
Besides this one, what’s your favorite stage show?
It’s so hard to pick! I basically like a lot of musicals such as Oliver, Little Shop of Horrors, Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Wicked etc.
Who’s the funniest person in the cast in real life?
My brother Chris! He has made me laugh so many times over the years. He never fails to crack me up with his impressions of people.
On the Edge Theatre Productions in cooperation with the Laguna Hills Community Center presents SHAKESPEARE IN THE HILLS 2015. This year we will be running two shows over a period of 3 weeks. Both shows are directed by Aurora J. Culver
Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM will play July 24, 25, 26, 31 and August 7. On opposite nights, Reduced Shakespeare’s THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE ABRIDGED – a comedy where 3 actors perform all of Shakespeare’s plays in just 90 minutes! This show will run on August 1, 2, and 8.
The shows will start at 6:30 p.m. The shows will be held on the lawn near the gazebo at the community center. Bring a beach chair, blanket, and a picnic dinner. Tickets are just $10 for adults. Kids 12 and under are free.
