Nancy Higley plays the beautiful, but wicked stepmother in OTE’s production of INTO THE WOODS.
This character is definitely different from me. She is self centered, cruel and
jealous. However she is a really fun character to play because of that fact she is
so different than me and everyone loves to play an evil character!
The biggest challenge taking on this role is singing Sondheim! But I love a challenge!!
My favorite line of dialogue is the Stepmother to her daughters telling them
“It’ll have to go” so they can fit into the “slipper”! Evil at its best!
What I do when I’m not at the theatre is teach Pilates and Zumba!
Nancy Higley - This is Nancy's third production with OTE. She is very excited to play "Cinderella's Stepmother" in this production of Into The Woods. She has played "Merchant" in Taming of the Shrew and "Mrs. Quince" in A Midsummer Night's Dream. This is a dream come true to be on stage with both her childrensharing this experience!
