What do you love about playing the part of Maranda Grosz? 

I love being able to envision the life of a 230 year old Cat person.

Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?
“Not our first rodeo, cupcake.”

What’s challenging about bringing this script to life?
Maintaining a connection with the other characters without being able to look/interact with them.

What’s going to surprise people about this show?
The humor.

If you had a magic wand, what would you do next?
Make myself fly.

Stephanie Thomas has been actively involved in theatre and entertainment since an early age.  Cast member of the Emmy award winning television show Days of Brother Sun in the 70’s.  Founding cast member of the sketch comedy group Fractured Mirror performing at The Improv, Ice House and Comedy Store.  Touring murder mysteries with 3M Productions as well as interactive Shakespearean soap operas with Amuse Pictures.  Some favorite theatrical roles include Anna in the King and I, Anne Boleyn in Anne of a Thousand Days, The Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz, Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, ensemble roles in Godspell and Quilters, and Ma Strong in the Orange County Regional Premiere and OC Weekly award-wining production of Urinetown.  Stephanie loves using her voice to create pictures in the minds of the audience and listeners, and is thrilled to be a part of this Earbud Theatre production to do just that.  It should be a feast for the imagination.
